After studying economic science, which was imposed upon him by his parents, he returned to his passion by studying fine arts and applied arts at Saint-Luc institute in Brussels. He went on to study fine arts in Paris, followed by artistic training in China at the Cenral Academy of Fine Art from 2010 until 2012. Painter and designer throughout his artistic career, he takes his inspiration from Contemporary European painters, Ottoman art and Asian art.

At the age of 21, after a failed marriage embarked upon at too young an age and from which he has twin daughters, the artist began a long journey which lasted 14 years. During this time he visited 38 different countries, some for the purpose of travel and others with the intention to settle for an indefinite time. To compensate for the failure of his family life, he left his life to chance; each new destination was chosen only by the unexpected course of events. It was this raw exchange with life that created the joy and emotional richness of his paintings. The destinations took him to different continents, including countries of North and Central Africa; European countries such as Russia, Ukraine, Azerbaycan, Kazakhstan; and Asian countries such as India and China. His love of Chinese art compelled him to remain in China for almost three years.

During his travels, he studied the painters, artists and musicians of the countries visited; he immersed himself in their culture, their music, their galleries and their museums. He simultaneously organised exhibitions in Brussels, Baku, Astana, Beijing, Xinjiang and Istanbul.

His work displays shades of contemporary art, new art and abstract art, which he combines with oriental notes inspired by Asian

and ottoman art. This electic nature of his inspiration creates a visual enrichment which is reflected in his technical focus on the color and in the cultural mix of his paintings.

His immense interest for Sufism pushed him to choose Istanbul as a permanent base with a view to enriching his cultural life. He hence established his studio on the European side of the city and is presently training in Iznik and Ottoman calligraphy art.

In parallel, guided by his boundless energy and his desire to share his passion for art with other poeple, he continues to exibit in Istanbul and other countries of Western Europe.
